Stop Feeding Your Kids These Snacks

“Not only are bloggers suckers for the remarkable, so are the Now Now there are many more than listed here, but here are 5 of some of the most common snack foods

1️⃣Granola Bars: For Chewy Bars specifically, there was a study in 2018 that found glyphosate (RoundUp Weed Killer) in their bars, which is also linked to cancer. Not to mention all the Processed Sugars *8 different kinds), Natural Flavor and Soybean Oil. No thank you.

2️⃣Cheez-its: This snack is filled with SO much junk! And let’s be honest. Even though the box says “Made with 100% Real Cheese,” the ingredients say otherwise. The cheese is labeled as conventional cheese - from cows raised on a large factory, likely fed GMO feed and routine antibiotics. Other ingredients include Soybean Oil, Canola Oil, GMO ingredients, TBHQ (increases risk for allergies) and is banned in other countries but not the US.

3️⃣Wheat Thins: BHT added is a preservative that is linked to cancer and endocrine disruptor affecting your hormones. Other ingredients include Canola Oil, processed Sugar, Cornstarch, Malt Syrup.

4️⃣Fast Food Chicken Nuggets: There are so many things wrong here when it comes to the ingredients, but I will highlight one major one - Dimethylpolysiloxane (if you can’t pronounce it, you shouldn’t eat it). This is the main ingredient found in silly putty. No thank you!


5️⃣Goldfish Crackers!!! This is a popular kids snack, but so bad for their health. Another snack with glyphosate (RoundUp Weed Killer) found in the crackers. They also hijack the snack with autolyzed yeast to make you want to eat more and more. These ingredients are linked to cancer and other health diseases. 

There are so many unhealthy snacks out there that are fed to our children almost daily! So you really have to do your research and dig into what ingredients are in the product and what those ingredients actually do or don’t do to your body!
